Kenya Anyone?

Hello, hello!
So I am very very excited about this opportunity that I have! I know I may not be able to go this trip, but would so love to go this time around! It is my passion in all it's glory!

There is a couple in our church who opened an orphanage in Kenya some years ago. This orphanage is called Children With Hope. It's purpose is to take in unwanted babies that get abandoned in the streets or left at hospitals or who are literally orphaned because of death. There is a couple that lives over in Kenya and takes care of all the babies, about 23 right now, who are going on furlow for a couple weeks at the end of September. The lady who started the orphanage is going there to fill in for them while they are gone, because you can't just leave babies with no one to watch them ;).

She invited me to come along. I was ecstatic! I want to go so bad! To be there for about 2 weeks and to fly all the way to Kenya, all I would need to do is pay for the tickets. The tickets will cost roughly around $1800. Living on a budget makes me very aware that I may not be able to go this time around, but they are desperate for the help, so I am taking desperate measures to see if I could make it there this time.

The small team would be flying out September 20th, just right around the corner. Her husband is buying the tickets next week sometime, so this is all happening really fast. I am writing this post to see if any of my friends and family would be willing to help me get to Kenya. It would be an awesome experience for me and just a time for me to pour out all the love that God has poured out onto me, onto these babies. I would be very blessed if you would help me get there!
